Approach to tutoring

Rose adopts a highly personalised and intellectually rigorous approach to tutoring. Her goal is to empower students to fulfil their academic potential by engaging with English and the Humanities critically and creatively.

Rose begins by assessing her students’ strengths and weaknesses to formulate tailored academic goals. For each English module, Rose implements a structured program that spans deep-dive textual analysis, conceptual synthesis, essay formulation, and exam-specific adaption to optimise performance under pressure.

Her students develop exceptional writing skills and the ability to engage critically with complex ideas, translating into outstanding Band 6 results and top cohort rankings. Rose provides practical advice about time management and revision methods to ensure students are well-supported outside of lessons.

Rose has been tutoring professionally with Premier Tutors since graduating in 2022. Most notably, a student of 1.5 years achieved 96/100 in English Advanced in the 2024 HSC and graduated as Dux of her school.
